Our Mission

Cattails Feline Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2006 by Dr. Gretchen Reid. While working at an animal control facility, she witnessed that less than 10% of cats entering the facility were reclaimed by owners.

Since then, we have dedicated ourselves to rescuing cats exclusively from animal control facilities where adoption services are not available. We are a volunteer-run organization with no paid staff, meaning 100% of your donations go directly to the care of the cats.

⚠️
Intake Policy: We do not take in cats from "outside sources" or owner-relinquished animals. All our adoptable cats come directly from kill-shelters to save those in immediate danger.

Spay & Neuter Resources

We believe the only way to curb pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering.
